Frequently Asked Questions
What is a neighborhood association?
A neighborhood association is a group of residents who work together to build a healthier, safer, more vibrant community. A neighborhood association is different from a homeowner’s association (HOA). Unlike an HOA, membership and dues are voluntary, governance is less formal, it includes all residents (including renters), and its mission is typically focused on community spirit.
